@JoJoGirl: Aw sorry mama...Sleep is an ever changing target--what works one night might not work the next. h

@JoJoGirl: the worst feeling is when you think you out then through that for no reason. It sucks. C had a bad night too, though in a different way (just up whining a lot). Hopefully tonight goes better.

@JoJoGirl: It is ok. We are trying to figure out things just as much as they are. Maybe just go with the feed overnight regardless of the time.

You know we sleep trained a couple months ago and E still wakes up sometimes. I had to feed her at 1:30 last night (FIVE OUNCES) and over the weekend, fed her at 5am. And I consider her sleep trained, fully.

They do just throw you for a loop sometimes

Sorry you had such a bad night. I know we had some awful nights a few weeks ago and used teething tablets and that seemed to be it.

@JoJoGirl: sorry. I may have misunderstood. So you CIO for putting her to sleep and also for motn wakings? We had to CIO for both, but separately because they were different. CIO for motn wakings was to teach her that she didn't need to eat in the motn. CIO at bedtime was to teach her that she could fall asleep on her own without nursing.

@SleepyMonkey: Yeah we have used CIO for both. For bedtime at around 4.5 months and MOTN wakings at 5.5 months (she's 7 months now). After we did it for MOTN wakings she dropped one of her two feeds, so now is down to one feed, but that feed is all over the place in terms of time (usually 3am-5:30am, last night 2am)... I started the thread because I thought after doing CIO for MOTN wakings she'd magically stop waking to eat, but alas, no such luck.

@blackbird: Ugh ugh ugh. I just want to sleep past 5am like ONE TIME.
