@MRBEE What data elements do you use to measure the success of this website? I am working on a project for work and was curious how things were handled here.
I am guessing things like
- Site visits
- Total number of users
- Number of new users within a period
- Number of log ins from users within a period
- Number of posts
- Number of threads
Anything else?

We just track a whole range of metrics. Pageviews, Visitors, Pageviews/Visitor, Ad rates, New Users, New Threads/comments on boards, Blog posts per day, blog comments per day, etc. etc.
We couldn't run the site without all the amazing support of our awesome blogger and hostess teams, so we also focus on more qualitative stuff too: like making sure everyone is happy!
And also, we try and make sure that we're proud of the site: the quality of the content, the vibe of the community, and stuff like that. It can be easy to compromise quality and happiness for various metrics, so we work hard to balance all that.
