So the doorbell goes off this morning at 7:45 am. Charlie had woken up at 6 am but I had fallen back asleep... oh well, I go and get the door.

It's the gas company guy here to read the meter... not fun, but part of life right. Well as I walk towards the frontdoor of our brownstone, I can hear him also ringing the doorbell of at least one of our neighbors. Ok kinda rude at 7 something in the morning, but whatever. So I open the door, and he ignores me... looking through his papers. Then he says, "Oh sorry buddy, wrong address."

Strike 3, pal! What I said next isn't really printable for a family blog. I mean, come on... if you're gonna be ringing doorbells at 7:45 am, try to ring the right ones??

Ever since having kids, my attitudes towards people who ring my doorbell has drastically changed! I used to be mildly annoyed if people rang my doorbell late at night or early in the morning... now I just get so upset! I just feel like so many doorbell ringers forget that there are often sleeping kids involved.

Has your attitude towards doorbell ringers changed at all since starting a family?
