This is the emotional roller coaster of my life and I'm pretty sure the huge rises and falls are yet to come. His numbers are very bad and only I can comfort him today. I worry he's encephalopathic and won't last too much longer. I sit here holding him and hope that someone else's terrible loss can help my son live, which only makes me sadder.
