Thank you everyone, it really means a lot to know you are all there for L. We are at UCLA. No medical updates but he's been in really good spirits today, I even got a little laugh out of him. I don't want to make any guesses about what's next, but I know that he's going to make it through this.

@Ms.Badger: Oh, my fellow May mama! I am just seeing this and am thinking of you!!! I'm so sorry that you are going through this ordeal and wish I lived nearby to bring you sandwiches and milkshakes. You're attitude is fabulous but that doesn't take away from the fact that having a child in the hospital is insanely scary. Checking back here for updates...

Baby boy is still pretty much unchanged from the last few days. His liver is still very injured and having trouble with its necessary functions. He is still eating well and is fairly interactive during his awake time. We are spoiling him rotten and he slept on some one for every nap today and yesterday. He's on the liver transplant list as a necessary precaution. Tomorrow is a big day as his entire team of doctors will be here, hopefully with optimistic news. I'm holding up better with my parents here and with some close friends visiting and I try to stay in the present and not think too much about the future. I hope I get some good news soon
