Thought I'd update since I posted about these a few times.
I think they turned out okay (but huge). I wrote LO's full name, "first Christmas" and the year on the back in sharpie. Painted on two coats of mod podge and a little glitter for sparkle!
One for each set of grandparents and one for use to keep.

Oh man! Yours look way better than mine! It was so hard to get LL to unclench his fist long enough to get a good print...I had to paint the handprint to get them to stand out!

I just took mine out of the oven and your handprints look WAY more clear than mine...my LO was irritated I was taking away her favorite chew toys for more than a minute and giving them back extra salty

Love it! Now I want to do this. What do you use for the material? Would it work having a handprint on one side and foot on the other?

Oh they look so good! I tried to do this today with great failure. Perhaps I'll try again sometime this week - as long as she doesn't push her hand all the way through the dough then try to eat it.

@cmomma17: those are great! I'm going to try making them with my LO as well for his first Xmas ornament. I hadnt thought to make multiples but they'd make fantastic grandparent gifts! Maybe I'll do foot prints for those. Did you make a salt dough or buy a kit?
