For the second time this week my DD told me her ear isn't working and I needed to fix it. This time it was also accompanied by dizziness and stumbling around for a few minutes....any ideas? I'm guessing we should probably take her in to her ped...

Omg what's going on with our kids! My son said this EXACT thing today! He said "I can't hear anything." He has been saying "huh??" An awful lot lately when we try to talk to him.
My husband has hearing loss that he developed as a kid.
I made an appt for his doctor for Tuesday.The stumbling though sounds like a neurological issue?? Definitely get it checked out!

If she has congestion or wax in her ears that could cause her to feel like her ear wasn't working, or hurt. And it definitely could throw off her balance. I'd take her in to see.

Yeah an inner ear issue could Definitely cause vertigo. I wouldn't worry about neurological problems. Definitely take her in though.

Agreed. No need to worry about neurological issues. DD is always running into things and tripping when she has fluid in her ears, causes her balance to be off.
