DD absolutely loves DS's babies, so I was thinking about getting her one for her first birthday. I am looking to spend under 50. What are your favorite first baby dolls? Something non creepy would be great.

The Stella dolls from Manhattan Toys are great first dolls. Its soft, comes with a paci, and its totally not creepy

I agree with the stella dolls. That was my DD's first doll and she loved it.

How old is your daughter? We have had every single doll imaginable (my dd2 is obsessed) and the only two I would buy again are Baby Stella and Bitty Baby. As a young toddler my DD loved Stella, now that she is almost 4 Bitty Baby is her #1
ETA: Nm, just saw 1st birthday... in that case Baby Stella all the way!

Fun fact: if you lose the magnetic soother that comes with it, the company will mail you a new one for a couple of dollars

@charm55: So good to know about the pacifier. I used to spend hours hunting that down when DD was little. I ended up tying a string to the pacifier and then to the baby's wrist.
