I was saying to mine how my back was killing me, he said well it is probably due to the load you have out in front. I just looked at him, and he said I didn't mean it like that. I just said don't ever say that to me again. He has been so goos telling me how beautiful I am and look great, so not sure where it came from. Men!!

@Grace: I told him he was an ass. He then back pedaled, big time. He said that my pregnancy is special to him, so obviously he will still think I am gorgeous. However, if he were to see a woman in a bar (not pregnant) and her identical twin (pregnant) most men would find the not pregnant one more attractive.
What?!?! So, what you are saying is, that you will find me attractive because you love me, but the rest of the world will think I am fat and ugly?
I think he realized he couldn't win this argument so he shut up after that. Grrr.....

I dunno, according to a former patient's parent (who was a prostitute) there is a huge demand for pregnant prostitutes, and a huge premium for their services, so there must be a lot of men out there that find pregnancy a turn on!

Omg, right?? I was whining to DH about feeling huge and ugly. He got really excited and told me he knew something that would make me feel better. He came back and said, "Your hot photos!" and had some pics from a couple years ago. I almost cried. When you're complaining about feeling huge and ugly, what would possess a person to think that the solution would be to show me pics of how I will probably never look again!?!?!?? And imply that I am in fact not "hot" now. Poor guy really has been so complimentary during pregnancy, but that just wasn't his best move!

Yikes! My husband thinks I'm hotter in pregnancy and has said as much. I'm waiting for after the baby is here and I feel like crap. He better still think I'm awesome then too.

DH definitely finds me attractive, but ever so often he'll say (almost with awe) "wow, you're so big!" Thanks. I've gained 4 pounds over my pre-preg weight, but yeah, that so makes me feel good. NOT. Like I don't have body image issues already.
