Cleaning poop out of the bathtub. What is it about the warm water that makes it so inviting to poop in?

Washing bottles and pump parts every freakin' night. Oh, and pumping in general.

If you'd asked me 4-6 months ago I would have said night feedings... I will never forget those haha!
I guess it's getting up before 7am no matter the day.

Shrieking.
And putting him to bed over and over and over again. We're already at #3 tonight.

"Mommy look at this..." 5 million times every day! Seriously, I can only look so many times at the same lego/drawing/building creation... especially when it's followed by "Do you like it", which has been asked 5 times regarding the same creation in just the last 3 1/2 minutes.
I love all the creativity but it really is draining! =/

Night wakings and bottle washing. but! Night wakings are so much better when you already cleaned the bottles before bed. Nothing is worse than cleaning and assembling a bottle at 4am with one eye open.

@TurtleDoves: have you seen those Mixie bottles with the formula in a separate compartment? If I used formula I think I would try those to see if they'd keep me from having to go downstairs.
Hmm, I think my most dreaded tasks are pumping and changing LO after a poop exPlosion.

(Assuming no night wakings that a quick paci replacement won't fix...) diaper changes! My daughter has decided recently that she HATES them. After eight months, she hates them (and having her clothes changed.) She arches her back and lifts her butt off the floor, she rolls, she sits up, she cries and screams, she scoots backwards pushing off of me and she even tries to push herself right off the changing table if that's where we are changing her! It's just such a pain. The first change of the morning is the worst.
@runsyellowlites: Hang in there! I can relate from working with kids... as lovely as it is that they aim to please, it's hard!

I agree with diaper changes. C used to be so good but now every single one is grounds for a meltdown. She screams and kicks her feet on the ground and tries to crawl away, so I have to pun her down, pinning her down causesnher scream even more.... Its so not fun. Especially when its a poopy diaper.

Poopy diaper changes. She's been pooping twice a day now, so I can't avoid it. Sometimes she's a good girl and waits until DH comes home. If only I can train that! Haha

Night wakings - hands down! Give me a poop explosion (in the grocery store, where I forget the diaper bag, and I'm wearing a new shirt) any time over night wakings. Sigh.

@Weagle: The bathtub is apparently E's new favorite place to poop. I swear he drops a log in there like 3-4 times a week. And of course it's when I'm giving him a bath, not his father. I'm a human pooper-scooper
For me it's diaper changes. He has no interest in laying on his back for like any time at all. No matter how much I try to distract him I still end up having to nearly pin him down to get a new diaper on him. Half the time he still twists and starts crawling away. I'm constantly pulling him back. He seems to think it's a game now....how far can my poopy butt get before Mom catches me? Sigh.

Putting her down for a nap when she doesn't want to take one. Exhausting. Naps are the bane of my existence.

@BlueWolverine: I hated washing bottles and pump parts too! Luckily DH didnt mind doing it

Cleaning pump parts got old so quickly. Now putting LO in and out of the carseat is the most annoying these days. And cleaning up the plethora of toys.

I know I replied already but luck just isn't on my side today. Not only did she refuse her nap, she pooped twice!

Right now, it's night wakings because he lost the paci. I am so ready for him to figure out how to get it in his mouth himself. He's sooooo close.
