Any tips for getting rid of blackheads and keeping them away ?!

I just got a thing of glamglow for christmas (white jar) and while I haven't used it enough to say for sure yet-- it is supposed to be great for black heads and generally cleaning out gunk. I can say that when I've used it I can see it pulling gunk out of my pores and my skin feels amazzzzzing afterwards.

@coacheswife123: I once did this Pinterest face mask with jello powder. It promised to rid me completely of my nasty pores in less than an hour. Instead, it stuck to my face like super glue. I sat on the bathroom floor for an hour and cried as I tried to pull it off a speck at a time. It pulled all of my face hair out. So, I guess it had it's perks... was like a good wax. So anyway, don't do that one.

@coacheswife123: bahahaha I just got it. I wish I had some advice for you, but my nose has tons of little blackheads on it and I don't know how to get rid of them either.

There's no full proof method to get rid of them permanently as they are a collection of dead skin cells and oil your skin is constantly producing. I have a tool from sephora that is great at removing them and I use a clarsonic every night in the shower which helps a lot. Regular facials really help and I get them every 8 weeks or so.

What about a once a week scrub and mask? I had the best facial about 4 years ago. She told me to only scrub my face and mask it once a week because of my sensitive skin. It's worked wonders for me.

Have you tried the clarisonic? Pinterest has a million ways to get rid of them but I trust the clarisonic more lol

@coacheswife123: Is it wrong that my first thought was that scene in mean girls where they're all in front of the mirror, and i want to say "I have really bad breath in the morning..."
seriously though i really like the body shop's tea tree oil scrub. And biore strips. and sometimes I just scrub my face with baking soda and water paste.
ETA: ha, just read the thread and saw your other post. haha.

ughhh I have this problem. But I also breakout easily, so any of the scrubs make my acne worse! I can't win.

My pores suck too (cracking up over the Mean Girls reference).
I got the Olay version of the Clarisonic and I really like it! It seems to be helping.

I bought a Clarisonic Mia 2 and quit eating gluten at the same time ... I'm not sure which did it, but my blackheads & bumpy skin are gone. Seriously, I love that little machine!
