I posted a few days ago about how I wanted a cake for LO's 100 day party, something simple enough that I wouldn't have to worry about a Cake Wreck. DH asked for a cake that said "happy 100 days". This is what I got. For the record, when I called to find out what happened they wrote it down correctly; some teenager just did whatever they wanted.

I worked at a bakery in high school and once misheard a dad and daughter and wrote "Happy birthday, Bob!" It was for their MOM. They thought it was so hilarious that they kept it even though I offered them a new cake. I hope their mom had a good sense of humor.

It's funny now that I've taken the cake back and found a replacement somewhere else! The girl claimed this happens all the time and they just scrape it off. I was like, what kind of bakery is this?!

Cake wrecks is the one thing guaranteed to have me in hysterical tears. I love it!
For my wedding shower my aunt ordered two cakes; one to say "congratulations" and one to say "joy and peace". When we got them, the congratulations cake was on top (so far so good), but the second cake said "Joy and Pete!" Ha ha... I loved it.

Lol! It took me so long to figure out what happened! My grandma's turning 90 soon and I kept scrolling at the cake, reading a line, then keep looking back at the cake.
I finally figured out it's not for your grandfather! Hahaha!

The spelling part was funny but I had to call back this morning to ask for a refund and ended up screaming at the manager because she accused us of lying, saying we approved the cake and that was how the order was taken. We actually didn't have the party because with them asking me to bring the cake back last night and then having to go out looking for a new one, no one felt like doing anything and then it was LO's bedtime.
