For me: #309 in my year. Julius or Amber. For DW: 554 in her year. Ronin or Tiana.

I probably wouldn't use any of those. Ronin is my favorite out of all of them but I don't love it. I do like how uncommon our names are though. Mine shot up in popularity about 7 years later to #44! My parents were ahead of the times.

My name with my spelling was number 98 the year I was born. (My name is actually a lot more common than that. It's just hard to track because there's a lot of different ways it can be spelled, and it's also used as a nickname for other longer legal names.) We'd have a Juan or a Vivian, but I wouldn't use either of those.

My husband's name was number 2. It drove him crazy because he had 5 friends in high school with the same first name. That would give us a Liam or an Olivia. I like Liam, but he wouldn't agree to it. William was actually at the top of our boy name list, but we would have used the more traditional nickname Will.

The actual name we've picked out was number 7 in 2014. But popular names today equate to less people than they did in the 70s. Even though we've picked a pretty popular name, there's no one in our circle or in our large families who have used it yet.
