List all the first names of kids who shared names in your elementary class.
Out of about 62 kids, 12 were name sharers. We had two of the following:
-Alex
-Adam
-Justin/ Justen
-Katie/ Katy (one was a Katherine and the other a Kathleen, but both used their nicknames)
-Kristen
-Jennifer
-ETA: Nick

Oh man it's hard to remember back that far! We had two Kirstin's but they were pronounced differently and there were two Jesse's.

Stephanie, Christina, Amy, Jessica, Amanda, Rachel, Heather. Lots of classic boys names...Michael, David, Steven, Kevin, etc.

There were always two Ashley's (my name). I don't remember specifics, but I know I went to school with a lot if Lauren's, Lindsey's, and Justin's

I remember growing up I knew more than one of these names with spelling variations:
(Girls) Kelly, Lindsay, Linda, Christina, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Cindy, and Nicole. And my name Kimberly was common too.
Boys: Brad, Matthew, Mark, James, John, Paul, and Peter

@Grace: I spoke too soon. I can picture some faces like this guy named Nick you cut some of my hair in 1st grade, but I don't recall his last name. He wasn't there all 7 years though. There was another Nick with beautiful eyelashes.

I'm an Ashley and there was always at least one more Ashley all the way through elementary school.
I remember more than one Matt too, but I can't remember any others!

I remember a few Trevors, Jennys, Katies. I also have a popular 80s name (Megan), so there were lots of people who shared my name in elementary school.

I don't remember too many names but I remember there were two boys with the same first and last name. The first name was Chris which is very common but to this day I've never heard their last name again.

I had to Google what ages Elementary School is!! We call it Primary School.
My primary school was in an area of my city where a very large chunk of the families are from India, The Punjab, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc. The kids who sat on my table were called Fazana, Razia, Farooq, Akmul and Majid (true story!!). I think Ranjit was the only repeated name in my class....
At secondary school, though, the frequently repeated names were Rachel, Rebecca, Alison, Andrew, Matthew, David.

I can't remember my elementary school classmates names but I did have tons of doubles on my high school cheer squad. There were two:
Ashley, Lindsey, Megan, Courtney, Katie and Heather! On a squad of fewer than 20 girls, this was a lot.
Though I know it isn't exactly a random sampling since we were all cheerleaders

Boys were Christopher, Michael, Eric and Patrick.

Hmmmm I think a few Johns, a couple Sarahs. Nothing else is coming to mind, but most people had common names for sure! Mine was #3 in the late eighties but no one in my grade was named that at my school. Lots of us in high school though, and some people at university with the same first and last name as me!

@Mrs. Champagne: How could I forget Sarah! My junior high was filled with them. I remember one class that had four Sarahs. The grumpy ole teacher complained about the number of Sarahs a lot. Eventually she just called all the girls Sarah. She was a piece of work. (Now Sarah is my Starbucks name.)

There were definitely a million Jessicas.
Other than that, I can remember a few Vanessas.
Melissa was a popular name.
For boys, there were a lot of Joses and Jesuses.

Out of a class of 34, we had 3 Sarahs, 2 Ashleys, 2 Dannys (Daniels), 2 Rebeccas, and 2 Jennifers. 11/34 name sharers. Man, our parents were sure creative.
