Our soon-to-arrive LO has a Grandma (my mom) and a Grandpa (DH's dad) who are still with us. Grandpa has a live-in girlfriend and Grandma has a long-term boyfriend. What should LO call them? It doesn't feel right to give them grandparent titles, but also strange to call them by first name only, when every other adult in the family has a title like "Uncle Joe" or "Aunt Jane".

I have a step dad, and I think our LOs will end up calling him Gran-Dave! (his name is Dave of course)

We have this problem too but since my three nieces all call them by their first names, it's been taken out of our hands, phew!

I asked the same question awhile ago, although my mom is married to my stepdad. We just havent had the best relationship. I still didnt decide on anything:(

I always called my grandparent's SOs by their first names. I like the ms and mr suggestion though.

@adnama: I do the same for my dad's wife! I call her Grand-Kay. I think it's kind of funny.
