I don't know about you, but while growing up, I always had a list of girl and boy names I was convinced I would use someday. DH and I are still TTC but my list has changed sooooo much (obviously, things change from aged 14 to 29 
)

Here's mine!
Adolescent: Melanie Claire (all first name) and Clarissa (pronounced claire-essa) for a girl and Peter for a boy.
Current: Madeleine or Camille (I see that I stuck with the M and C's) for a girl and Liam for a boy.

Charlotte, Cassidy, Jade , Maeve , Ariadne
We actually have a Charlotte! It has always been my favourite name . I hope to convince DH on Maeve if we have a second girl (will be a tough sell though). I don't so much like my other names anymore!

I was totally in love with the name Audrey. Love love loved it. I still like it but not as much as I did when I was in middle school. DH has always wanted the name Kalen for a boy. He's still pulling for that one but this LO is a girl 
I remember when I was about 5 and we played house I always wanted my name to be Karen. What a weird child.

I don't remember for a boy, but for YEARS I wanted to name my daughter Sydney. Once we got pregnant, it wasn't even a consideration. Funny how things change.

@simplyfelicity: I always said I'd have four boys and name them Brendan, Connor, Emmett, and Tiernan.
My tastes changed a little, and then I also had to take DH's taste into account. He hated Emmett 
We both like Brendan, but it didn't sound good with our last name. I outgrew Connor and Tiernan.

Sophie, Ella and Jasmine for girls... Now I have nieces called Sophie and Ella, my sister obviously has similar taste. I remember declaring (I think I was 7) that I wanted twin girls called Sky and Cloud. My aunty still falls about laughing over that.

Ermingarde, Cecil, Lottie.... I was obsessed with the book "A little princess". The only one that seems barely tolerable now is Lottie (which is kind of pretty, but cousin has a Charlotte).
Violet has always been in the running, which is our intended name for DD, unless she comes out looking like anything but a Violet. It is a famly name and my middle name though.

I know it changed a lot but some names I remember liking when I was younger are Renee and Derek, I've also liked Reilly since high school and I still like that name. Now I like Connor and Marley.

As a young kid, I loved Veronica. Maybe I read too much Archie?
Also Abigail. Still love it, but the popularity turns me off. That wouldn't be a no go for me, but I don't think DH likes it. My main problem with it now is I'm not that into Abby. And I think it's harder to control people giving your kids nicknames than we think! And what if she would prefer Abby? Nothing I can do then!
For boys - James and Patrick. Still love love love James, but it sounds terrible with our last name. So so on Patrick.

I used to like names all ending with -y. But when it was time to name my kids, I specifically avoided names that ended with -y. I named a bunch of younger cousins though and all their names end with -y.

I loved more elaborate names as a kid, like Evangeline, Gabriella, Genevieve, Guinevere, etc. Haha.
I tend to love more classic and traditional, and generally family, names now. Our current choices are Audrey Josephine or Caroline Josephine (Caroline is winning! We'd call her Cora for short) for a girl and Truman Joseph or Franklin Joseph for a boy.

Girl's names I loved were Angel, Chloe, Morgan & Scarlet. Only one I still like is Chloe, but that's my nieces name.

I was obsessed with the name Sherry when I was really little. No idea why. It was not a consideration for LO's name.
I also have always loved the name Miguel, but it really, really sounds dumb with our very English last name.

The others I remember: Stacy (when I was really young) and Claudia for a girl.
Brandon for a boy.

As a kid, I thought Cassandra was so glamorous. As a teen, I wanted to name my kids Gemma and Jude. I still like those, but they've gotten fairly popular, and DH doesn't care for Gemma in particular.

Ugh! I had the worst taste as a teenager...I loved the names Rage, Sage, Tristan and Sunday (they're not all that bad). Then I moved onto loving the name Abigail - which I still love.

The only ones I remember are Sarai Jessalyn and Willie Asher. Those did not return to the list once we started having kids
