A little background: LO is 4 months old and has been STTN really well (10pm-9am) in her crib since she was a month old.

She will not, however, take a nap in her crib. She will nap great (1.5-2 hours) in her swing, but when I put her down asleep (I know, that's my first mistake) in her crib, she wakes up after 15 minutes, happily kicks for 15 minutes then starts fussing.

I've started letting her fuss/cry and going in every 10 minutes or so to rub her belly and put her soother back in. She smiles immediately once she sees me and stops crying. I've been doing this for the past hour and she is showing no signs of going back to sleep.

At what point do I call it quits for the day and pick her up to try again tomorrow? Am I screwing things up if I let her sleep in her swing today (I'm worried about her getting over tired)? Am I crazy to be nap training at 4 months when a sleep regression might be right around the corner??

HELP!!
