What time/s what your baby napping at 1 year old?
I am trying to plan her birthday party but it is hard when I don't know what her naps will be like!

He was alternating between one nap at 11-1 & two naps at 10-11 & 1:30-2:30. On his birthday he slept the two naps schedule. I planned the party for 10-2 & it worked out all right (he was a little groggy/cranky at first, but lightened up after a while).

She was going down at 11:30am and waking up at 1:30pm.
We had some weekends where she had a two nap schedule, but i tried to have her on a 1 nap schedule for her 1st birthday party.

R isn't 1 yet but will be moved up to the next room at day care before her bday. They nap 1130-230 (or lights out/quiet time). So we are going to schedule her bday party at 2.

@AprilFool: depends when DS wakes up, but he's usually up at 6:30am. So first nap at 9:30. Then his 2nd is 3 hours after he wakes from his first nap. (so around 2:30) We had his party at 12!

@hilsy85: @chopsuey: This is our current schedule. Maybe it will stay like that for the next few months!

I'm so jealous of everyone's great nappers! DD takes a nap around 10 and 2....usually 30-45 min each. Her party started at noon so she took a 30 min nap before it started and then she knocked out for 30 min on my moms shoulder during her party.

With both of my boys I did a 10 am and a 2pm at that age. Worked well so that we can go have lunch or attend parties. Although, some bday parties started at 10:30 AM! We would just go a little later say like at 12pm so that he could have had at least an hour nap before we woke him up to go. A little nap is better than none.

DD takes two naps and we scheduled her party (which is next Saturday!) from 4-6:30 because it's on her actual birthday at the community center so we have to set up right beforehand and I wanted to enjoy the morning with her first!

We scheduled his party 4-530 because of the same issue. Turns out he switched to one nap at 11m but 430 avoided the time he would've napped if he'd still taken two as well.
