Here's our pup! We adopted her back in 06 from our local SPCA. She was only 10 weeks old and found in a dumpster with her tail half hanging off. 
she's almost 9 and is such a lover and so amazing with our girls. I don't give her enough credit! She's my first ever pet and my first baby.

Aww what a cute pup!!
Here are my 2 shelter cats! They are the same age, and were found stray when they were 6 weeks old. They are from different litters, but have been inseparable ever since we brought them home. They are 3 now!

This is our rescue dog Maddy. I adopted her almost 5 years ago. She had been dumped over a 6 foot wall at a kill shelter in Alabama. She was rescued by a small dogs group that put her in a foster home for a few weeks until I adopted her and she was brought up here to MA. She's been an absolutely amazing dog and I wish I could clone her so we'd always have her in our lives. She loves DS and I can't wait to see them playing together more and more.

Here is Callie. She's 10, I can't believe it! She was a hurricane Katrina rescue. The shelter she was at in Lousianna was flooded and she wasn't rescued for days 
She was transferred all the way up to Wisconsin after the storm, which is where I got her. She was only about 7 months old then. She is the smartest dog, never runs away, and is my four legged shadow.

Love my rescues!! The black was a pup from a pregnant momma in a shelter and the blonde is from a puppy mill bust. They're not spoiled at all....

Here's our shelter pup Kodi. I got her about 7 years ago when she was 6 months old. She was a very bad puppy but has turned in to the best dog! She gives the best snuggles! She's also a little spoiled if you can't tell!

@regberadaisy: Awww....I had the best pup who was also found in a dumpster. She passed away last November at the ripe old age of 17. Her name was Rags and she was the sweetest (and most spoiled) girl ever, From about ages 14-17 she was ALWAYS cold and wore a cute pink polka-dot fleece sweater every day Miss that dog!!

Both of my dogs are from the shelter. We got them both when they were 3 years old. My older dog is now 8 and our newest dog is now 4.

My other shelter pet is Winston. He is the sweetest little boy in the world. He loves to play, but he also has his "special" toys that he takes care of and doesn't immediately destroy, like this stuffed parrot. He spoons with it like this every night, and it is so damn cute!!

Here's my pound puppy with my Yorkie from a breeder. Love her! They are inseparable so it's hard to get a pic of just her.
