We are snowed in today. DH didn't snowblow, so we can't drive anywhere, and the sidewalks aren't cleared yet, so we can't got for a walk. The snow is too deep to play outside, so I need a good indoor activity to keep the kiddos occupied! Suggestions? DD is 2.5 and DS is 10 months.

if you have lots of flour and some baby oil, you can make cloud dough! we did it during potty training time inside a blow-up kiddie pool. the only thing is that it's a little tough to clean up, and you gotta make sure it doesn't get wet!

how about baking and decorating cookies? our babysitter did a project with WJ where he finger painted with chocolate pudding (I'd only do that RIGHT before bathtime though!! haha).

Do you have any instant pudding? You can make it up and use it as finger paint. We used to smear it on the table and draw shapes in it, but I've also seen it done where people actually use it on paper. If it's a light colored pudding you can mix food coloring in and make different colors too.

Homemade playdough with cookie cutters/rollers, bubbles, dance party, masking tape roads for cars...
food coloring and whip cream/shaving cream and paint the bathtub! The first time I did this with my nieces, they stayed in the bathtub for over an hour! Lol.

My kids love pudding painting! We actually just introduced @Mrs. Jacks to pudding painting last week.
I feel like we've exhausted our usual indoor activities, but we haven't baked in a while, so maybe we'll do that!

@Honeybee: Wagon Jr. just did an activity called Ice Paints at school... I think they froze colored water and the kids painted with it as it melted!

Also, maybe consider something with the snow... maybe fill pans with snow and use food coloring to "paint" it?
