HUGS! What a rough time. I hope it gets better.

I'm sorry you are feeling so blue! I lost my dad a little over a year ago, very unexpectedly, and we were super close. I hope you were able to give your mom a big hug, and maybe you should plan something fun for the two of you to do together soon

A lot of my friends think LO is pretty cute and want to hold him. Recently we were at a gather with some friends that haven't seen LO for a while so they were trying to hold and and have him sit on their laps. One of my friends got him to sit on her lap!

He got up after a few seconds... looked at her and scanned the room. Sort of ran over to me and back up into my lap. He never does this! We don't even read him stories like this so that was new. So funny. Sort like he's thought hey you're not my mommy... and went to find me.

You are having a rough time. Sorry for your loss. Your mom will be okay and so will you.

Oh, honey!!! I'm so sorry! My mom is my BFF and the other morning I thought about what I would do if anything happened I her. I know my sisters and I would be lost. Hugs and lots of !

Funny story: power went out Friday night. DH bought a generator and was ready to hook it up in case we need it. So, he goes to work getting it set up, has all the cords ready, and lights come on. I was so proud of him. I thought, "I've married a really handy guy". Well, he goes back outside. I am waiting for him to come in, etc. we get a phone call that all power should be restored and if it's not to call the company. I start worrying because ours isn't! Then I look in the kitchen and realize that the lights I see are from the power being turned back on and not the generator. In fact, it's not even running anymore because DH is putting it up because he realized that the power came back on. Yeah......I was all ready to call and complain our power isn't on and it had been on for about 20 minutes. I felt stupid.

Yuck, that's a lot of not fun stuff to deal with. Virtual (((hugs))) coming your way.

Man you have had a rough time of it! Here is the best I've got in terms of cheering up….
