My son noticed that we don't touch doorknobs of public restrooms, and uses a paper towel to open the door. I was simultaneously proud of him and ashamed of my neurotic ways.
Are your kids picking up any of your neurotic habits?

I got yelled at the other day because I put his stuffed animals in the wrong order on his crib. My MIL tells stories of my husband getting irrationally angry about things being out of place in his room after she'd clean. Uh-oh.....

I feel like not directly touching public bathroom doorknobs is prudent, not neurotic!

DS gets so mad when he notices crumbs on his clothes or hands! Life comes to a screeching halt until I clean him up.

My husband is super crazy about dirty hands (crumbs, stickiness, oils from chips, etc) and our daughter has totally picked up on it. The other night we were out to dinner and were in a booth that backed up to another booth. My daughter was on my husband's lap making faces at a little boy in the other booth. Well the little boy touched my husband's shoulder with a dirty hand and my daughter gave the kid the DIRTIEST look and started wiping off my husband's shoulder. To which my husband responded by telling our daughter he loves her so much and she is his true soul mate. Goof balls.

Putting things away in the right spot. Everything has its place! My husband shoves things wherever and I'm constantly fixing things. My son has definitely picked up on this and his toys all have there spots/cubbies. I'm not complaining about this one! I love that he does it!

@littlebug: haha my daughter has definitely picked this up from daddy. Doors (all Doors) must *always* be closed. Things have a spot and if they go back incorrectly she tells me "mommy, no, this goes here. See? That's right."

N hates getting dirty period, I know its because I hate mess. Oops. E on the other hand does like to get messy. I have had to let go because of his feeding therapy.

I am very tidy and don't like leaving things out of place, and so far LO seems to be similar. We shall see if it continues - I hope so!
