This reminds me of a Maya Angelou saying "when you know better, you do better". Whatever scars we have leftover from childhood are simply from parents who couldn't do more or didn't know how.

@Ash: True, but I think when people complain sometimes it isn't about things. And that I can understand a bit more.

@Boogs: she said it on Oprah. There are a few phrases I live by. Another one is from the late singer Phylis Hyman who said " this too shall past."
