I ordered LO a playtable and chairs from Ikea online instead of going to the store because I thought it would be easier to have something large like that delivered to my house instead of dealing with it and a feisty LO at the store. Well, weeks later.....still no shipping confirmation. I have an order confirmation but that's it, I decided to call today to just cancel the darn thing and was told I couldn't because it already shipped....o-kayyyyy....so where's my shipping tracking email? The lady tells me they don't have it, but it's coming from FedEx so Fedex should be sending me an email. Ok guys, that doesn't make sense to me, I shop online A LOT and every retailer I shop from will send me a shipping email when an item ships Fedex, UPS, WHATEVER. I get an email even if it's just in that "preparing for shipment" stage. So then I ask, "ok where is it shipping from?" And she says "Maryland, but I think it should get there tomorrow". So I assume it will take more than one day to get across the country but still no shipping email?! I then googled Ikea order status and shipping and found pages upon pages of complaints and bad reviews. Ugh. I am so so annoyed. I asked for a refund of my shipping costs ($20) but she said they don't refund shipping. I should have just gone to the darn store. I am so, so, so annoyed. Ok, rant over.
