We are moving this week into a house where the Windows have no blinds, shutters, etc.
Looking for temporary solutions--like the day we move--we can put something up to prevent people from being able to see in until we get shutters up.

We used big pieces of fabric that my mom had around- you could ask if any of your family has some. Otherwise, we probably would have used sheets.

White sheets if needed. If you want something thicker you could try drop cloths (canvas) from a home improvement store.

If you need room darkening the paper redi blinds at Home Depot work really well. We had ours up for two years.

If you live near an IKEA or want to order online, these might work. DH had them in his first house (before we got together) and they were totally fine for the price.

You can get cheap curtains at target or ikea. We just took down out Target ones after 3 years.

We moved into our new construction home in January and had to wait 6 weeks for our custom blind order to be completed. We used sheets and thumbtacks until we got them installed, super classy!

Another vote for the paper blinds. They just stick to the top of the window casing. We put them up in our house after we had LO when I was walking around frequently in various states of undress. Still using them 15 months later

We ordered some super cheap cut to length (yourself) cellular shades from amazon for our bedrooms for a couple of months. They actually stick to your window frame so we didn't have to drill or make any marks on the walls.

@petunia354: might be a good temp fix!
@mrswilson2012: custom blinds/shutters take an estimated 35 days! Ugh
