@citymouse: hahaha on your comment, I was gonna say it depends on how much you value sleep If your LO sleeps well without a swaddle I'd say you're good - if he doesn't then the new swaddle might be worth it.

@citymouse: we haven't used a woombie, but my best friend swears by hers, and her son is still using it at 7 months. Might be good to try!

We used receiving blankets until L was almost 5 months old! We were able to tuck her hands by her face. We did a double wrap to prevent her from breaking out. It took some time to learn how to get the wraps tight enough, but eventually we liked wrapping with blankets better than any swaddle

@Smurfette: the ZipadeeZip! It's fantastic, but it's for transition out of a swaddle. It might work...but it doesn't give the real swaddled feeling.

@Smurfette: Yeah, probably a couple more months before her LO is ready for that. Thanks for the shout-out, though

@citymouse: I definitely think it's worth investing in a new swaddle. You've probably still got another couple of months of swaddling ahead of you! ETA: Also, if you velcro it before washing it that helps. Not sure if you already do that.
