If your doctor prescribed it knowing you were pregnant then you should be fine. Most of those are are just high doses of acetaminophen (tylenol) anyways.

I've worked with opiate dependent mothers, who haven taken large amounts of opiates recreationally, or who are maintained on prescribed methadone or suboxone. We used to hear a lot about how opiates are actually one of the safest substances to use during pregnancy, because there is no lifelong significant impact for the baby, even if the need to be treated for dependence at birth. Smoking cigarettes is worse than using heroin for a fetus/baby.

Obviously you aren't abusing opiates, and are a healthy person. The dose your doctor prescribed is low. It will be totally safe for the baby, and it sounds like it will be preferable to the ongoing risks of high pain levels.

You should talk to your doctor about your concerns, but honestly I wouldn't hesitate to take them if I was in that much pain. Ouch! Get some rest and I hope you feel better!

@lauraeabel: Welcome! It's incredible how much we worry about everything we put into our bodies when we're pregnant; you're just being a good mom-in-training. It sounds like your doctor made a wise & educated choice for both you and the bambino, however, and I don't think you should give it another thought. Oh, and STEP AWAY FROM GOOGLE. Feel better!
