I had 2 Snappi fasteners, 24 prefolds and 6 Thirsties covers. I had other diapers that I wanted to use but LO 2 had really sensitive skin the first few months and microfiber wasn't an option. The prefolds were fine but I didn't like using them outside of the house so we also used disposables.

I had 36 prefolds, six XS Thirsties covers, and six Size 1 Thirsties covers. My LO didn't really like cotton diapers (she screamed every time she peed). I saved 12 of them to use as burp cloths and gifted the rest to a friend who wanted to try cloth diapering. Have you thought about a NB diaper rental?

We are going to try Applecheeks as a newborn diaper (we assume this LO will also be large at birth). They are pockets but they can also be used as a cover to help save on the number you need.

I didn't mind the prefolds. We used bummis nb prefolds with thirsties covers. If you already have them set up, then i find them no different from the AIOs!

How much do you want to spend? I've got a ton of fitteds, covers and inserts that will fit newborns that I need to sell.

@MrsTiger: I was motivated by this thread to post in the classifieds. I put things in groups and priced them accordingly, but if there's a bunch of stuff you'd like that i didn't group together I'm happy to change things around. I just didn't want to piecemeal sell one item at a time.

@MrsTiger: I prefold the prefolds into the covers, and also already have them folded if i don't have enough covers. I just do the trifold, and none of the fancy stuff - i never got used to the snappis.
