My DD is 6 weeks, EBF and if it makes any difference, she was born at 37 weeks.
She has been spitting up what seems like quite a lot after most of her feedings. She seems to spit up much less at night. For the first few weeks she had a lot if tummy pain and gas and our ped gave us gas drops which appear to help most of the time. I've been holding her upright during and after feedings and she is usually able to burp. Sometimes I offer a pacifier so she can continue sucking, but she doesn't usually want it.
I talked to the ped about it at her 5 week appointment and since she was up about 2 pounds from her hospital discharge weight, he wasn't concerned. But I'm still worry about it since she keeps spitting up so much. She has 3-4 poopy diapers and moderately wet ones throughout the day. Her next doctor appointment is in about 6 weeks.
Should I be concerned? Is it just normal newborn spittyness? When should I be worries about milk intolerances or allergies?
