Our next fit has the previous iteration of shoulder pads, which have the grippy backs. I know Chicco redesigned these and offer replacements on their website but I was curious if anyone went completely without the shoulder pads? They seem to annoy DS!

We ordered the redesigned ones. I think it was $5.00 so pretty cheap.

@kayakgirl73: I'm thinking about doing that, I saw that they're Velcro and DS hated our Velcro ones on our britax seat, so I'm wondering if it's going to be a waste lol

@Applesandbananas: The velcro kinda of folds in, so it's really not touching your LO and my daughter hasn't tried to open them and she gets into a lot. Spunky small two year old.

We never use them thry annoy me and I find it more difficukt to buckle her in. She doesn't seem to care, but the few times I put them on she took them off! She's 14 months...
