My in-laws are taking their whole family (6 adults, 3 kids ages 2.8 years and 2.4 years and 1 year old) to Niagara Falls in the middle of June for a week for their 40th wedding anniversary. We plan to fly into Buffalo, spend 1 day there, then split the rest of the time in NF and Toronto. We plan on doing the short Maid of the Mist ride, my in-laws want to gamble at the casinos in NF, but that's pretty much it. I have NO clue what we're going to do with the kids and would appreciate any insight on restaurants/things to do/playgrounds/excursions/etc for us that is toddler friendly. Any tips would be very helpful!

if you give me an idea of where you're staying I can make more food, activity suggestions.The area is beautiful in the summer and June is a great time to visit.

@regberadaisy: I'm not sure! My in-laws are making all the reservations since they are paying. I believe we're getting in REALLY late (midnight! UGH). So I think we'll be staying near the airport for the first 2 nights. Then cross the border and stay on the Canada side of NF for a couple nights, go to Toronto for 2-3 maybe. Then back to Buffalo to fly back. They are Marriot members, so I have a feeling we'll be staying in a Marriot brand hotel.
My dad grew up in Buffalo, so I want to go see his childhood home, highschool, etc. And we want to go to Anchor bar for wings.

Toronto Islands are beautiful and fun for the whole family. The Science Centre is great for kids, the ROM and AGO are great too.
Niagara-on-the-Lake is pretty, on your way to Toronto. -
In Toronto area check out the zoo and the aquarium!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: oh yes, the aquarium is great too! The science centre is great, there is an under eights section, and tons of stuff for everyone around the rest of it. You can often find 20% off coupons too.
