My LO has night terrors a lot. I notice she gets them more if she goes to bed too late or is over tired. There is really nothing you can do unfortunately I just stay in the room with her and tell her it's okay and try not to touch her because that makes it worse.

Night terrors are horrible! My daughter had them and it was not a fun few weeks. When she was overtired, she would wake up and sound like she was possessed. I read to not touch them as that make them worse and just to keep them safe (aka in their crib). You will notice the difference between night terrors and normal crying. It's scary..good luck!
