When did your nipples change in pregnancy, if at all? I've read that they'll get darker, and some things say it can even be an early pregnancy sign, but mine look exactly the same. I have the little red bumps (Montgomery's tubercles, I think?), but they're the same size and color as always. I'm 10w3d. I'm not worried or anything, just curious what I might expect in coming months. For what it's worth, I'm EXTREMELY fair skinned.

I had the red bumps really early. About 20 weeks I noticed them getting darker and leathery in texture at times when they were erect. I also had flat nipples going in and now they are always out. I'm also extremely fair skinned!

third trimester. darker, protruding, bumpier
they got better pp. by six months? i think they were back to normal, aside from their protruding(bfing). i'm 14.5 months pp now and they're back to pre-baby

@Danizaur: Agreed. I think the change was more gradual and then one day I woke up early 2nd tri and was like "oh, wow, I totally have mom nipples now."
FWIW, I'm super pale and blonde, etc. They seem much darker to me, but really, they're not that crazy, just a definitely different color than the light peach they used to be.

I'm fair skinned, but with olive undertones. Mine changed right away. They got HUGE, like twice their normal size, and by the end, they were very dark.

Probably changed early 2nd trimester - way larger and darker. Kinda scary - LOL
