Has anyone every been to a monster truck jam? Would you recommend noise canceling headphones for the kiddo/earplugs for adults? I am not sure how loud it gets.

Absolutely! They get pretty loud, it's not consistently loud; like in between runs they wouldn't need them. But a very good idea to have.

OMG it is SO LOUD. 100% bring headphones for everyone attending.

We took my son when he was three and he absolutely LOVED it! One of my favorite pictures of him his while we were there and he has the most excited face a three year old has every had. Have fun!
But 1000%, everyone needs headphones or ear plugs.

It is SO LOUD! 100% your 3 year old will need noise cancelling headphones and I brought ear plugs for myself and I’m so glad I did!
