I don't think I had any nosebleeds during my first 2 pregnancies but I've had 2 bad ones this week. Gross!

@autumnlove: have you been preg before in the winter? I get them all winter long due to the dry air (not preg)

yeah, I was just talking about this in another thread too. I haven't had any gushers really, but def. a weird thing to deal with because I never get them otherwise. Also, very stuffy/boogery too. Lovely eh?
We sleep w/ a humidifier in our room, and it seems to help a bit.

@Mamaof2: Yes! last month for LO 1 and several winter months with LO 2.
@TheSwissWifeStyle: The smell of blood makes me want to puke! I will borrow my LO's humidifer tonight!

Constantly. Try a humidifier. I also got nasal saline gel and that helped a little.

I've been dealing with it throughout this pregnancy. The humidifier doesn't even work with me.

This one! I never had one with DD1, but with this pregnancy I get one at least 2x a week. Doc said it's a mixture of increase of blood flow and how dry the air is. But it's so gross.

Only one, right at the end. It was so gross. But it came out of nowhere and I never got another one.

I haven't had a bloody nose, but during my second tri (Dec/Jan), I was getting blood on my tissues when I blew my nose.

@buttermilk: Same here! No actual nosebleeds but definitely bloody junk in the tissues. I think it has to be largely due to the cold winter air.

i've had nosebleeds since I was a kid, and have had my nose cauterised twice. the last one was about 5 years before I fell pregnant, and I still managed to pop a few nosebleeds during the pregnancy.

I've had a couple, and have been totally congested and stuffy for about six weeks now. I read somewhere that it usually lasts through the end of pregnancy (!!!) but I'm hoping when the weather warms up it will improve.

Has anyone had nosebleeds for the first time in their pregnancy?
I've never in my life had a nose bleed. It would terrify me when kids at school would get them. Now I'm terrified I could get them once I'm pregnant!

With both pregnancies, I get nosebleeds bad. The dry winter weather doesn't help either.

I had them with both. With my second it was worse. I started using saline regularly.
