@Cole: I'm so sorry. I hope things go back to normal soon for you.

@snarkybiochemist: Sorry, that really sucks. I don't know the Philly area at all, but hoping someone on here does.

Glad that the camping trip was at least fun!

@snarkybiochemist: I'm glad your camping trip was fun! Hopefully someone on the boards will have a good rec for you.

@periwinklebee: I love fall too! I haven't been hiking in ages but hoping to at least get outside for a walk to enjoy all the fall colors today.

@periwinklebee: @jhd: thanks it's just so frustrating and trying to pick a doc is overwhealming

@Mrs. Blush: Welcome! I also finally gave up on the October boards (both for myself and because November was more active ) That chart looks fantastic!

  7. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@snarkybiochemist: I'm really sorry, I would be so frustrated. I find everything medical-related pretty overwhelming, but I'm sure you will be able to find a great practitioner in Philly. Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll be able to get into see someone good really soon.

@jhd: A fall walk sounds wonderful! I love everything about fall - the brilliant colors, the coziness of it being a little chilly but not actually freezing cold yet, also eating locally picked apples and squash (apple cider donuts may be the best food ever), so delicious...

    @periwinklebee: thanks so much
@Mrs. J: I suppose I still could but it would be awfully late and if be worried about egg quality at this point

@Shellio: yeah, the October board is slowing down for sure! Nice to be over here with more folks. I am obsessing about my chart every five minutes - I think the temps look good, but I'm confused as to why I wouldn't have seen even a faint bfp by now if we got lucky this month.

  12. Mrs. J

    pomelo / 5132 posts

@Mrs. Blush: I got both my BFPs at 14/15dpo and nothing sooner!
@snarkybiochemist: well @lilteacherbee: is currently pregnant with an O day of cd27, and that's the soonest of all her BFPs, I think!

@Mrs. J: then I suppose I can still have hope, maybe Halloween will bring me luck

@snarkybiochemist: Yep, 2 healthy little boys and a baby girl on the way- I O'd CD 31, 29, and 27. Trust me, I know long cycles aren't fun, but there's hope!

    Cycle Day: 36
TTC Cycle: we have been NTNP for 4 months, but I finally got my period back in Sept (since having my son) so this is our first official cycle TTC
Ovulation Date: 10/31 or 11/1 per OPK (I'm not temping)
POAS Date: 11/13 if I can hold out that long (who am I kidding)
    Baby #: 2
What's up this month: starting a new part time job in a few weeks!
For Fun: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Stuffing for sure

  16. snarkybiochemist

    nectarine / 2180 posts

@lilteacherbee: thanks I just wish I was consistent. I think I could deal with long if I ovulated at roughly the same time each cycle.

Ugh.. I'm 7dpo.. officially the worst day in the TWW.. late enough you start thinking about testing but too early to actually test! I am getting day 21 blood work done today I'm hoping to get my results from my doctor sooner rather than later. Otherwise no real symptoms other than mild cramping all week and slightly weird temps. My temps have all been within a .10th of a degree but slowing going up since O. The last few cycle my temps almost alternated up and down.. maybe vitex is balancing my hormones better now.

Ignore the temp spike on Friday I had been out late at the hockey game and had a few beers 😀

@Banana330: That looks like a great chart so far!

I'm 8dpo according to my apps but not temping so I'm convinced I'm only 7dpo based on my usual pattern of OPKs. I know the app is going to make me want to test tonight but I need to hold out til at least Tuesday...

I'm not even sure I ovulated, of course, and I did get some medium lines on OPKs a few days ago as well... If it was a late ovulation, we may have gotten O+1, not even sure. I need to start pretending we're not even trying this month so I don't disappoint myself.

@peachykeen: hold out! 7-8dpo is sooo hard... but BFN are harder... anytime after that is fair game!

I'm jumping onto this board! I was unsure of my actual POAS date. haha

    Cycle Day: 28
    TTC Cycle: 1 officially
Ovulation Date: not sure. Around 10/13-15 sometime
POAS Date: Based on what my cycles have been the last 3 months, it would have been Oct 31, but based on FF it would be November 4. I've gotten some recently, but no AF, so I'm going to jump onto this month board for fun! I've been crampy the last day or so, but hoping I'm not out yet!
    Baby #: 2
What's up this month: planning a grand opening event for my church the weekend before Thanksgiving!
For Fun: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Mashed potatoes are probably my favorite dish in a Thanksgiving meal, but I love all of it!!

  22. snarkybiochemist

    nectarine / 2180 posts

@Tionn3: Since I haven't ovulated yet I won't be POAS on 11/6 and I don't actually know when I will be given that it is based on O. Take me off the list for now and I will circle back when I have a new date.

Jumping in here as I am getting frustrated by our lack of success over the last few cycles.

    Cycle Day: 3
TTC Cycle: I guess 4, I had my IUD out on Aug 4
    Ovulation Date: expect 11/10
    POAS Date: 11/23
    Baby #: 2
What's up this month: Hoping for success this month, have been using OPKs and seem to have good timing. Last month my cycle was 27 days after having usually been 24 but O was late at day 14.
For Fun: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Pumpkin pie!

@Banana330: nice chart! I have to say, it's strange to me to see temps in Celsius!

  26. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

    @Mrs. J: right.. I guess it's got less range than a F one? I just do C cause my thermometer is C.

    @Banana330: Awesome chart!

Good luck to all of those who are getting close to POAS, I totally agree that days 7/8 are the worst... Almost there!

I finally got a blazing positive opk this morning. And I voted early (between filling in the scantron bubbles, sealing the envelope with a stick of school glue, and getting a sticker afterwards, it felt like an intense flashback to childhood ) With the TWW and the countdown to the election, it's going to be a reallllly long week...

  28. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@periwinklebee: Yay! Get on your BD and enjoy the start of the tww! At least you can feel optimistic for the first few days..

@periwinklebee: Yay for ovulation! Perfect way to celebrate Halloween!! I just realized my POAS is ON election day. Good thing I vote by mail!

  30. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@Banana330: Hah, I hope so - I've been too pessimistic so far this cycle and stuck in stage 3 (I just know I'm not - i.e. won't be - pregnant), I need to get back to the basics with stage 1!

@Tionn3: Hoping you get great news on election day, in more ways than one!

  31. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

    @periwinklebee: I'm stage 4, then 5, then 4 again.. but really wish I was 6!

  32. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@Banana330: Almost there, not much longer! I'm still at the point where I'm thinking - I don't want to even test this month until AF is late, because I don't want to see another BFN. But I know I'll totally lose resolve before then.

  33. Tionn3

    kiwi / 680 posts

@periwinklebee: I feel like that every month, and then around 10 dpo I test ,and it's a bfn, and then I sit there and smack my forehead thinking, ugh why did I do that.

  34. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@periwinklebee: I swore last cycle I wouldn't test before 11 dpo.. now... i'm kinda leaning towards 9 dpo

  35. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@Tionn3: @Banana330: Hah, I need a lock box to put my hpts in that won't open before a pre-specified date!

  36. shellio

    pear / 1614 posts

@Banana330: Chart looks great! And, yes, a beer or two is another reason I haven't started temping even though baby has been sleeping through the night for the most part...

  37. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@shellio: I just mark as discard or questionable and enjoy my beer!

  38. Banana330
