Cycle Day: 6
TTC Cycle: 7 (oi vey!)
Ovulation Date: 10/29 (but I ovulated early last month so we will see)
POAS Date: 11/10
Baby #:1
What's up this month: Going to try to take a more relaxed approach. I promised DH that I would really try to let go of this false sense of control that I have.
For Fun: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? So many dishes to choose from! I guess my favorite is the cornbread stuffing that my DH makes, it is so darn good!

Cycle Day: 1
TTC Cycle: 2? (M/C in April)
Ovulation Date: 11/3
POAS Date: 11/19
Baby #: 2
What's up this month: I have been lurking these boards for a while. I had an 11 week M/C in April. Just last month my cycle regulated. I had been very worried since my period was very irregular. Did some testing and I am ovulating so the DR said everything is good to go. It took me 9 months to conceive my first and had no idea I was pregnant the second time till I missed my period, which was so much more fun, and sadly it was not meant to be. I was due October 31st, and these days its hard not to think I should be rubbing my belly waiting for baby.
For Fun: My Favorite dish is hard to pick, I absolutely love Fall and Thanksgiving dinner. If I had to pick it would be my moms stuffing, complete with gizards and such.

For Fun: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I love a good nut roast! We had one at thanksgiving this year and it really signifies fall/winter for me

Cycle Day: 2
TTC Cycle: Third cycle post-Mirena. Possibly the first one where we will actually hit O.
Ovulation Date: I'm guessing here since I'm not temping, around 10/31 or 11/1.
POAS Date: Nov 16
Baby #: 2
What's up this month: Just hoping we have a better month! Last month DH had to travel and both LO and DH caught hand, foot, and mouth. Needless to say not much BD!
For Fun: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Roasted veggies have been a favorite lately. It's hard to choose just one!

Cycle Day: 15
TTC Cycle: 3 but off BC since March, only 2 ovulations in that time period I hate PCOS
Ovulation Date: no clue maybe 10/23-10/26 but my CM is way off this month and my temperatures have been weird and all over the place
POAS Date: 11/6 I guess I have a 12 day Luteal Phase so it sort of depends on O
Baby #: 1
What's up this month: Worried I won't ovulate this month seeing as I only have coming off BC or a provera induced period. Taking my synthroid and metformin along with prenatals and trying to relax and do things that make me happy
For Fun: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I love stuffing and pumpkin pie.

@jhd: omg DH and our boys had HFM in June, and DH had it so badly! He is still losing nails.

@jhd: @Mrs. J: HFM screwed up a whole TTC cycle for us earlier this year - it's no joke! I got it way worse than DD. Hope your family is feeling better!

@peachykeen: I'm so sorry for your loss =[ I hope things start to even out for you.

@Mrs. J: your poor DH. My DH was scheduled to go out of town for an important business trip the day we confirmed LO had HFM. DH came down with it too and spent the first three days of his trip in his hotel room. His poor hands and feet were awful.
@peachykeen: I'm so very sorry for your loss. And crazy I'm not the only one who lost a whole cycle TTC to that awful illness. Thankfully both LO and DH are better now. It was no fun. I guess that's part of the adventure of TTC #2, you never know what germs the toddler will pick up and share just at the worst possible time!

Thank you to all for the kind words.
@peachykeen Wishing you rest and good thoughts. Its hard! Make sure to treat yourself well.
On another note, just a quick recommendation to all, even though we are taking prenatels, get your vitamin D checked.I found my self with dangerously low vitamin d, and felt that there may have been a relation to my M/C. Since then I have been trying to get more sun and taking supplements as recommended by a DR.

@peachykeen: @MzPumpkin: hopefully November is a good month for you both.
@Tionn3: does acupuncture hurt? Or anyone else that has done it? Thinking about giving it a go for other reasons.
Cycle day: 2
TTC cycle: 3
Ovulation date: I have no idea now. Not sure if I'll use opks again this month.
POAS date: maybe the 19th. I'll adjust later.
Baby #: 2
What's up this month: my birthday is near the end of the month! I seriously need to destress a lot, but am not sure how to do that. Maybe should start exercising even though I always find excuses not too. Am also going to look into acupuncture for stress.
For Fun: my fav dish is roasted crispy potatoes. Yum!

@Petitduck: In general it doesn't hurt. There are some points where you feel a little pinch when the needle goes in, for me it's the one they put on the top of my head and one by my thumb (which is a fertility point). The other needles I can't even feel go in. Sometimes I have other sensations, like tingling. They are very fast when they place the needles, so that helps a lot too.

@Tionn3: eek sounds a bit scary when described!

@Petitduck: I've had it for back pain and it was fine, quite relaxing. I even did stimulated where they send a little current through the needles, sometimes that hurt depending on how tight places were.
I also had it to get labour started. That one wasn't painful but uncomfortable. Some of the locations just made me feel weird. But it worked and labour started after two sessions.

What's up this month: I'm going to try acupuncture in hopes of lengthening my luteal phase. I tried it once a couple of months ago, but the guy who did it wasn't very good. Hoping for a better experience this time. I have to travel a fair amount for work this fall but this cycle will be home the entire fertile period. Not sure the stars will align as well the next couple of cycles, so I'm hoping to take good advantage of it
For Fun: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Stuffing.

@Mrs. J: @Banana330: @Tionn3: @jhd: @MzPumpkin: @Petitduck: @periwinklebee: Thanks
I'm feeling pretty normal fairly quickly, so I'm hopeful to take advantage of the supposed boost in fertility following a MC. Sunday/Monday would be my "normal" O date and I may have noticed EWCM earlier this afternoon... but now I'm not sure if I imagined it Hopefully I can count on OPKs to help pinpoint because I'm not bothering to temp this month.
Good luck to everyone!

I'm in that limbo zone of last day of October beginning of November so I'll join in the conversation here too.
Cycle Day: 14
TTC Cycle:2
Ovulation Date: October 20
POAS Date: 11/1 although there's a good chance I'll try before then...
Baby #: 2
What's up this month: I used opks and I think our timing was pretty good. I wanted to go to the chiropractor but didn't make it and won't until late next week.
For Fun: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Pecan pie!

I took an opk this morning and there was a clear second line. This afternoon is was almost positive! That's two days earlier than the last few months. I was expecting to O Tuesday it looks like it might be tomorrow afternoon or Monday morning.
nectarine / 2317 posts
@jhd: @periwinklebee: thanks ladies! My DH is out tonight but hopefully we can hit tomorrow and Monday, we did manage yesterday.
Does anyone else feel super bloated and puffy around O? For the last two days I've been super bloated, and I've noticed it near O the last few cycles.
nectarine / 2180 posts
@Banana330: Yay positive OPK, I haven't noticed bloat too much, just tired usually around O
My body has decided to be incredibly weird and I am annoyed with it
pomelo / 5132 posts
@Banana330: not O, just PMS or when pregnant for me. Annoyingly, since having my kids, my PMS symptoms are also preg symptoms—nausea and acute sense of smell.
