So when I went in for my 10 week appointment two weeks ago, my OB set my appointment for my NT scan. It's tomorrow. Anyway, my OB also said that they may be able to give me a 70 or 80% answer on what the sex is.. I was super surprised. Did anyone else find out a rough answer that early? I'm excited to find out, but realize its unlikely we'll know for sure.

My OB said he was pretty good at gender on the NT scan, and he was 100%...wrong!
It's fun to guess, but take it with a grain of salt!

We did the NT scan with our second, and we could definitely tell it was a boy. They weren't calling it 100% yet at that point, but there was equipment present that girls just don't have. He was agreeable in showing its the goods and the placenta was in a good place to see him well.

Yes. The perinatologist did my NT scan, and she had a strong guess of the gender. She was correct!

No, the techs weren't allowed to discuss the sex/gender at my NT scans.

No, techs aren't allowed to say anything about gender here, and sometimes don't even pass the info along to the dr since gender isn't considered medically necessary information (in most cases) so they're technically not allowed to keep you under ultrasound to look for it unless they just "stumble" across it in the course of looking for other things. And my area has a very high incidence of termination of pregnancies based on being an unfavourable sex, so often even if the doctor knows they won't tell you.

The pertinologist (sp?) did ours and was 80% sure it was a boy. We ended up with an emergency u/s at 17 weeks and LO was still a boy. He's 8 months old now so he was right!

The tech wouldn't even look at mines but I was fine with that

Yup! The tech and the doctor looked at the separate times, and both predicted the gender with 95% certainty. they were correct!

We were told our first baby was a boy (NT scan at 12 weeks) and they were definitely wrong!

We were told it was a girl based on the nub theory and they were right!
It's fun to guess, but take it with a grain of salt!
