Awww it's looking really great! So pretty and girly. What about adding a side table next to the glider with a lamp? And maybe a cute floor basket to throw toys or blankets in. I think baskets would look really great in that wall cubby. You could also add some shelves to showcase books forward facing.

I love it:) Very relaxing and chic...not over done and cluttered! I like that you won't have the valances over the windows...The long drapes look very put-together and almost adult like which is great....Great job, mama!

my ONLY 2 suggestions and you can totally ignore them if you think they're lame....but:
-See where you have the changing mat? I'm thinking move that stuff on the left to the right and put the mat to the left so that you'll have more room to stand right up against the changing pad instead of hitting against the doorknob. You know what I mean? I only say that because I had a similiar set-up and just changed it and I feel so much better.
2- You said this already....that you would change out the name decal...first of all, its really not too bad...I don't think I would have noticed if you didn't point it out. But, maybe use ivory for the name instead of a darker pink because on top of that taupe it may look purple-ish pink?

@jholler25: riiight I understand what you mean; I didn't realize there was a separating wall between storing area and changing pad...well:) it shouldn't be a big deal and if ever it was you could open the closet door if it got bad.

I think two floating shelves behind the glider (kitty corner from name decal) would be awesome. You could put books, baby cam (if you're getting one), frame - etc.. they would look totally cute.

So cute and pretty! I don't really have much to add... I am still working on mine and am way behind where you are I especially love the crib with the tree decal and the pretty pink pillow! I am also thinking of doing a decal near the crib but am not sure about the price and how to put it up... Where did you get yours? Was it difficult to put it on the wall?

So pretty! I think the pp's already have suggested some good ideas (lamps, baskets, shelves) then it'll be perfect!

Cute, lucky little girl! I'd do a small table by the chair, with a clock and some kind of lighting. I'd also think about room darkening curtains or blinds, just in case.

@jholler25: I have no suggestions, but just wanted to say it looks awesome! I am not a fan of nurseries that look like a bottle of pepto bismol exploded on them, so I think your pink accents are perfect and very tasteful! I am also considering getting one of those PBK blankets for myself...looks so comfy!!

I agree some shelfs or a bookshelf would be great to add. We don't have a lot of storage in our house so all of her stuff is stored in her room. It was also really hand to have PJs and socks close to the changing table. We have bins that stores things like diaper creams, hats, extra wipes, etc. On a bookshelf we have her books, toys, extra blankets, stuff like that.

Another vote for a gallery wall above the changing table, it would be adorable.

What about some hair accessory storage, right above the changing station? You'll need somewhere to store all the clips and bows!

@yoursilverlining: my wipes are in the drawer and it's not a PITA I just grab 2 wipes and close the drawer.

I would maybe add some decor next to the frame of the changing table. Or some shelving or cubes. It will allow you to put stuff there looks really great though.
