I need to meet some people for brunch or early lunch around midtown. They are staying in Times Square and my personal preference is somewhere closer to Herald sq but really anywhere in the area is fine. Ideas? Thank you, thank you!

Norma's! My favorite midtown brunch. 56th and 6th Ave, very walkable from Times Square.

I agree with @Andrea:, Norma's is great for brunch!
Times Square are is pretty touristy and doesn't have a lot of great brunch spots, Koreatown is near Herald Square,'if you like Korean food!
Tough to top Norma's though!

@mrbee: I agree! I strongly dislike walking through times sq, esp. with the kids! Stressful!
