I've only ever heard of this rule but I just can't imagine being randomly searched for no good reason. It feels awful "big brother' to me

Yeah I didnt like the stop and frisk, specifically because it ended up being used disproportionately against hispanics and african americans.

This isn't a frisked example but DH used to be stopped and searched outside the subway ALL the time. He was even stopped outside Radio City Music Hall once (after myself and my parents were let inside). I think they were stopping him to try to fill their "white male" quota. He began walking different ways to avoid it since it got to be such a hassle.
