@TarHeelBee: Well if you really are only 7 DPO you are probably too early to tell anything. And even halfway between your guess and FF would only put you at 10 DPO which is still on the early side. FX for you!

@Mrs.KMM: @eko: I will!
@eko: maybe try water in a rinsed out beer bottle? I'm sure you will come up with something!

I don't know what's going on with me. I have always had pretty regular periods. Start on cycle day 29 or 30 and always last for 5 days and goes from light to heavy then to light. This time. I had the worst cramps (which) I never get and it only lasted 3 days. Not to mention, I had HUGE blood clots. One was 4 inches long by 1/2 wide. So weird... I am on cycle day 5. I have never tracked my O and I plan on doing that with digital tests I bought. I really hope my cycle doesn't randomly get messed up!

@eko I see it as well! Can't wait to hear an update! Way to start us off!
I am feeling a bit encouraged because I had a temp dip on 7dpo, so I am really hoping it was actually an implantation dip. It went right back up today 8dpo to the highest temp I had.

@Eko: Congrats!
CD 28 for me and AF has stayed away so far. I had some AF cramping very early this morn, but non since then. If AF stays away tomorrow I plan on testing either after school or on Saturday with FMU. This may be the most nerve racking test I've ever taken.

@valentinemommy, @hellobeeboston, @ballerinabee, and @yogirunner: Thank you for the kind words and encouragement! I really appreciate know that there are some people out there who understand it is a difficult job. Some silly people still tell me to my face that it's arts, crafts, and reading stories for 9 months a year for a generous salary and benefits.
Today, 9 weeks into the school year, we were told that we need to change our master schedule because it "violates" the district standards for instructional time per subject.... I guess they just forgot about that back in July when making the schedule?? So, in a week, I might be losing my favorite subject (SS) and picking up my least favorite (math). At this point, so much BS has happened this year, this new stupidity isn't really even phasing me... I guess that's the upside?
Also, I miscounted and tomorrow is only 11 DPO, which is pretty early for a test date, but I'll start tomorrow anyways and continue until AF or BFP I think I was hoping for some workweek joy....

@DesertDreams88: whoever said teaching has a generous salary has no clue. Good luck! I'm feeling the schoolyear stress too...hoping it doesn't mess things up!

@Jone0603: thanks!! Your temp sounds really promising! FX for you. Here is my second test I retook last night. The focus on my camera is terrible. I am heading into the dr today to get some tests rolling. Hoping for a sticky baby this time around.
I do want to say thanks for all the congratulations! It has certainly been a very long road so far in my ttc journey and even though I am no where near finished, it feels so great to have such a supporting community.

So I don't know what to think right now. I'm 12 DPO and my temps took a nose dive this morning (still above the coverline but barely).
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/4e0153
I also took a FRER this morning and I think I see a tiny smidge of something (particularly in B&W) but that is probably just wishful thinking by my imagination. I just want it to be positive so badly that maybe I'm seeing something that isn't really there.
I still have lots of extra mucous in my throat with no other sickness and the gassiness is back with a vengeance. I'm also a little crampy (which I don't normally get pre-AF). It would probably be asking too much to hope that my temp nosedive and crampy feelings are a super late implantation, wouldn't it?
I guess I'm not completely out until AF gets here (due this weekend) but I'm not feeling so good about this month anymore. Man - I've spent the last week convinced this was our month. Why do our bodies do this to us?
nectarine / 2148 posts
@Mrs.KMM: I am thinking I see a line, even in the colored photo. I am certainly not a temping expert, but you can't rely on temps to give an accurate description if you are KU or not. The extra mucous and gassiness was some of my first symptoms, on top of really sore boobs. I wouldn't count yourself out!! This all looks really promising!! FX!

@Mrs.KMM: it's there! Woo!
9dpo here and still bfn. No worries! Friends arrive for gabf tonight and while I still plan to lightly drink I don't have to hide anything!
October is off to a strong start!

@Mrs.KMM: that looks positive to me, though I know FRERs can sometimes get evaps...does it have color and did it appear during the first 5 min? Fingers crossed for you. Can you not drink anything and test again this afternoon after a 3-4 hr hold?

@Eko: congratulations and have a lovely pregnancy!
@Mrs.KMM: that's for sure positive! It's pink not gray. Congratulations!

@Eko: @Mrs. Microscope: @MrsMccarthy: Thanks for making me feel less crazy! I swear - I thought my hope and imagination were just playing tricks on me this morning. I don't think I'll completely believe it until it is a little darker / more obvious but I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees a smidgen of something there.
@78h2o: This was after 3-4 minutes so definitely within valid reading time. Honestly - it was such a small smidgen of something (and I'm terrible with squiters) that I couldn't be certain if there was color or not. Just that I could see something. I think I'd rather wait a day or 2 to use my last FRER so that (if I am truly pregnant) it will hopefully be a more obvious line.

@Mrs.KMM: All else fails you can get a digital. There is no price on peace of mind.
grapefruit / 4355 posts
@Eko: I have a couple of digitals but I question if they would be sensitive enough to show positive. If the FRER is this faint, am I really going to have enough hCG present to get a positive digital?
nectarine / 2148 posts
@Mrs.KMM: That is a hard call. I do think the digitals are more sensitive then the frer's, but yeah never know.
nectarine / 2148 posts
@Mrs.KMM: I'm sorry I just realized that was really unhelpful. Definitely do what you are comfortable with, but it is a very good sign!!!
grapefruit / 4355 posts
@Eko: Haha - no worries. I think I'll probably wait a couple of days and use my other FRER. I want to be able to see something darker. If I can still see a line, I'll try one of the digitals then too.

@Eko: Yay, congratulations!
@Mrs.KMM: I suck at squinters, so I won't even try, but wishing you good luck!

@raspberries: I suck at squinters too which is probably partly why I don't completely trust myself here!
pomelo / 5607 posts
@Mrs.KMM: I see something too! But just for what it's worth, I wouldn't take a digital at this point. I had a negative on a digital AFTER a positive on one, even though my numbers were going up according to a later blood test. So at best they're finicky, and it really sucks to see that "no" or "not pregnant," especially if you really are!

@Mrs.KMM: I see something. I know it's not exactly valid, but mine always got pinker and darker as the day wore on and it dried, so see what it does in a few hours.

@Mrs.KMM: I definitely see something. I would totally wait for the digital though. I agree with @Torchwood that it might not show up yet and you'd be disappointed for potentially no reason.

FX @Mrs.Kmm and @eko-- I am not good with squinters but am thinking good thoughts for you both.
Question for the group: how early have folks gotten a BFP? I know the FRER say they can detect 6 days prior to missed period but wondering how often that happens? I am starting to feel a little antsy. No real symptons (although I am only in the 7 dpo range right now) and can't remember if I had any symptoms leading up to the BFP for DD. I also waited until the day before my period was due to test with her-- was hoping to do the same this time but the suspense is killing me!!

@Mrs.KMM: Congrats!
I'm debating whether I should go and buy another FRER. I only have one (generic) test at home, but it says it can detect pregnancy "as early as the first day of your missed period."
I have an appointment with a new dentist tomorrow and am worried they will want to do x-rays.

@angelachase: @Torchwood: @Tidybee: @JennyG: @dc yoga bee: @Willow: (I hope I didn't miss anyone!)
Thanks ladies! It is making me feel a whole lot better that a bunch of you guys can see a super faint line too. I'm not crazy and seeing things!
I've heard digitals aren't as sensitive as FRER and I don't want to disappoint myself by seeing "Not Pregnant" spelled out if I might actually be pregnant. So I agree I think I'll wait a couple days and hope for a darker FRER before breaking open my box of digitals.
grapefruit / 4355 posts
@Willow: I'd probably go buy a FRER and use it tomorrow morning with FMU. Then you can feel more comfortable and confident going into your appointment.
How long has it been since you got x-rays? If it hasn't been very long, they may just put it off if you tell them you might be pregnant.
apricot / 261 posts
@Mrs.KMM: Yeah, you're right- I probably should for peace of mind (I just hate the thought of "wasting" the money if AF ends up arriving the next day)
It's been 1 or 2 years, and it's a new dentist so I don't know if they will want them done.
