@Willow: With a new dentist, they are probably going to want them (assuming you aren't pregnant). According to this site, dental x-rays don't hardly expose any of the body other than your teeth so you may feel comfortable enough to just go ahead with them.

@Willow: fwiw, I just went to my dentist yesterday & was due for x-rays. I am pregnant, but they said they wouldn't do xrays even if I just thought I could be pregnant. I am, however, an established patient. Not sure if that helps any, but thought it timely info since I was just in a similar situation.

@Mrs.KMM: thanks for looking that up.
@GoGoSnoGirl: thanks, good to know. I will probably let them know it's a possibility.

I got a faint bfp on a frer this morning! I was so sure I was out for this month that I only took the test for peace of mind that I wasn't pregnant before we made plans to meet friends at a bar later today. Sure glad I did! I'm going to take a digital later to confirm.

BFN for me this morning. I'll test again tomorrow if AF doesn't arrive.

My temp shot back up this morning so I'm thinking / hoping that the nosedive from yesterday was a fluke or the thermometer was out of position or something. Testing again tomorrow morning.

@TarHeelBee: congrats! October is shaping up to be a good month!

Can I move my POAS date to 10/11? I am really unsure of whether or not I ovulated at all this month. Temps are inconclusive and I am sick of driving myself crazy over it! If AF hasn't arrived by then, I'll test.

PS--if you've ever had an anovulatory cycle, how long did it last? Next Saturday will be day 40 of this cycle, completely unheard of for me. But, if I did O, it was reaaaallly late.

My temp climbed higher this morning, so I tested with another FRER. again. So unless I ovulated way later than usual, I think I'm out this month.

@Willow: what DPO are you? If your temp is still climbing, I wouldn't count yourself out yet! It may just be too early to see a positive.

@angelachase: I think I had one in June. 39 days, but I didn't try to track o past day 16 and all were neg. Good luck!

    @TarHeelBee: awesome! Congrats!

Another day, another bfn here. 10dpo. Still not worried! AF is due Wednesday so I have plenty of time still. Last day of gabf. I've been so food at tasting beer without getting even buzzed, because you know, just in case! I hope all you bees are having as great a weekend as me!

All those bfps, October is on fire for sure!

@Mrs.KMM: I'm not really sure. Based on my regular cycle, I would be 14 dpo now. But I only got a few temps in this month (due to multiple wake ups with our puppy), and had ewcm for like 7 days, so I can't pinpoint when I actually ovulated.

@Willow: with my son, I didn't get a BFP until like 13/14 DPO, so it's not over until AF rears her ugly head!

@Mrs.KMM: your temp might go up and down a bit but I wouldn't worry unless it goes and stays below the coverline.

Thank you everyone! Very exciting times indeed. As a bonus, I have all of next week off of work, so hopefully the stress will be low. Also, my dad is visiting Tuesday-Sunday but I'm going to try to keep the secret from my parents until November.... we'll see how that goes!

A special congratulations to @TarHeelBee! What's your EDD? I will be June 15th.

@DesertDreams88: June 13th! Also going to try and keep it from the folks until November, pretty sure DH's dad would accidentally spill the beans to the whole family way too early.

Another BFN for me at 13 Dpo. Now I'm just hoping for AF so I can move on.

Well, AF is officially here, which totally sucks on one hand, but on the other hand, I am really happy to close the door on this insanely weird cycle and its 12 days of blinking smileys.

Now I have a WWYD for you ladies. I was originally going to take two months off from TTC because my sister's wedding is next August (I'm the MOH) and I didn't want to be due in July/August amid all the wedding prep. However, I'm really annoyed that this last cycle was a bust, and kinda want a "do-over." There is also now a chance that the wedding may not happen as originally planned. Would you still take the break or give it one more try?

  39. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

@angelachase: I'm sorry about the BFN. I have heard similar things about the CBE advanced digital (which is why I like the regular digital.)
As far as planning goes, it would be really hard to make this call because two months can feel like a long time. So, there's a chance the wedding might be called off entirely? When in August is it? If it were me, I would probably hold off and NTNP. Not saying it would be easy but I wouldn't want to take the chance of not being able to be there.
Eta: If the wedding is at the end of August, trying for a July EDD could work!

@DesertDreams88: @TarHeelBee: Congrats!! This is making us all hopeful!

@angelachase: I would keep trying. But I am in a slightly different situation. If I am pregnant this month I will be due right when my SIL wants to get married. They got engaged and announce the timing after we had already tried.

I was going to test this morning, but woke up at 5:15 having to pee and totally forgot, so now I will test tomorrow at 12 dpo which is probably better anyway!
