    @simplyfelicity: Normally the CBE Advanced work like a charm for me, but this month I took vitamin B6 and it made my cycle insane. I'm about 75% sure I didn't ovulate at all.

    The wedding is scheduled for 8/22, and based on today being CD1, my EDD would be 7/11 if we got a + this month. But, there is some talk of the wedding being rescheduled or called off entirely. If the wedding is on, I don't want to be pregnant/due in July or August, because I don't want to pull focus from my sister's festivities or be in the fog of having a newborn. But, 2 months feels like a really long time to wait if the wedding's on shaky ground, and this cycle that just ended was #6, so I'm getting really antsy.

    @angelachase: That makes sense and I totally agree with not wanting to take focus from your sister. A compromise would be to TTC for a July EDD but not an August, especially since the wedding may even be called off. I am sure whatever you choose will work out.
    Also, the average woman has one anovulatory cycle a year, so it's totally possible.

    Excited and terrified here:

    After my loss, I'm going to be a big old mess for a couple months. But today, I'm pregnant.

    @angelachase: I would go for it this cycle and then if you don't get a BFP, maybe take the next one off. I can completely understand you not wanting to take the attention from your sister, but you also don't want to put your life on hold especially when there's talk of postponing or even calling it off.

    @angelachase: I would try again this month, especially if the wedding is on shaky ground. You aren't required to put your life on hold!

    @Jess1483: Excited to share a due date month with you once again! Huge congrats!

    @angelachase: that's tricky! I'd probably go ahead and try this month, then see where things stand with the wedding. If it's a go for August, I'd skip the following month of trying, so you don't risk missing the wedding entirely.

    @Jess1483: WooHoo! Congrats!

    @angelachase: I would try this month (with the July EDD) and then if the wedding is still looking like its going to happen as planned, take the next month (with an August EDD) off. IMO, you can't put your life on hold for everyone else's plans.

    So I've had a busy day and didn't get a chance to post until now but I took another FRER this morning (14 DPO) and the line was definitely more obvious than the one on Friday! And there is no denying the ClearBlue digital test! I'm pregnant!

    Looking for opinions..

    I used the 7 day cb opk this cycle and got a smiley face in the morning Wednesday the 24th. Do I count from that day when figuring out dpo or the next day? The nurse at my RE's office said I would probably ovulate on Thursday. We only bd'd really late Wednesday and Thursday night so I doubt I'll get a bfp but am I still in the running? I took a frer this morning and got a bfn.

    Also..My RE said to poas this coming up Thursday but I'm expecting my period monday or tuesday which is only 11/12 dpo. I think I just realized I might have a short LP and maybe that's why I keep having early losses. I'm definitely going to call and bring this up to my RE. I'm on progesterone this cycle so I won't get my period until I stop so do I keep counting days until Thursday even tho that's longer than my normal cycle? ugh I'm confusing myself..Sorry ladies.

    My period still isn't here, I was holding out! I did POAS sat afternoon but got a bfn.... Having some symptoms, will POAS in the morning!

    Ended up pretty busy this afternoon and when I got home it had been about 6.5 hrs since going to the bathroom last so I decided to POAS. I got a BFN, but I am hoping it is still too early at 11 DPO. My temps are still rising too. Thoughts?

    @LalaLove: There's no way to know without temping (or I guess ultrasound), but I would say the following day (Thursday) is the most likely O day (though Wed-Friday is possible), so Friday you would likely be 1 DPO. A 10+ day LP isn't supposed to be a problem, but a 9 day or less LP probably would be. Good luck!
    @Jone0603: looks promising. fingers crossed for you.
    @hellobeeboston: good luck!
    @Mrs.KMM: yay! congrats!

    @LalaLove: decent chance you ovulated on Thursday but it could be anywhere from Wednesday to Friday (no way to tell with just OPKs). But it sounds like you could still have a shot! And it is my understanding that a 11/12 day LP shouldn't be a concern.

    @Jone0603: you timing this month looks pretty great and your post-O temps look decently similar to mine. FX for you!

    Just got a bfn (frer). Questions though. I did go to the bathroom at 3, would that affect the test? I'm being crazy! Ha.

    I got a flashing smiley on September 20th (I don't chart/temp) based on previous periods I should be spotting by now, wouldn't a test be positive if I was pg??

  32. BandDmommy

    pomelo / 5660 posts

    @hellobeeboston: it might but I found SMU to be just as good as FMU unless you drank a ton of water between 3 am and when you tested.

  33. Mrs. J

    pomelo / 5132 posts

    @hellobeeboston: So it was SMU? It's definitely still possible to not have a yet. Some don't get one until 17/18 DPO!

    I just got flashing smiley this morning. I'm cd10 so I guess I'll ovulate earlier this cycle. How many days of flashing smilies do y'all get?

    @travellingbee: I stop testing after flashing smileys since I usually get a solid smiley the next day, and I'm cheap and want to save opks haha. I should prob keep testing

    My estimation of October 5 was totally off! My chart was a mess (I was sick, there were lots of temp shifts followed by drops back down and stress about writing my job and planning a cross country move in under two weeks) so I ordered OPKs to use for next month. But they got to my house day before we were moving cross country and I couldn't resist using one. I ended up catching my LH surge the next day!

    I had a temp shift this morning, so I'll probably POAS on October 16 or 17 if my temps stay high.

    Thanks for your thoughts ladies--I'm still undecided about this month but leaning towards trying. It's not so much about putting off my own plans for hers, but wanting to enjoy the wedding for my own self too. I don't want to be in a fog of pumping/sleep deprivation/postpartum recovery, I want to have fun! But, waiting until December to try again feels like sooooooo long.

    Congrats to the new BFPs!
