    @JennyG: thanks! I am telling myself that what will be will be! Either I will get confirmation of bfp or move on to November. This week I have a few projects and we are leaving Saturday for Orlando with my best friend's family for a week at Disney and Universal so I have that to distract me. But its not over until its over!

    Having a minor freak-out moment over here... I am 9 DPO with an average LP of 11 days, and just had spotting when I wiped. It's that moment of either being out (which is getting more and more devastating every month) or maaaaybe it's IB?

    I had sharp pains really low right before, and my boobs are still pretty tender.

    I can barely pay attention to the rest of my (busy) work day... question is, do I take a HPT to put me out of my guessing misery?
    Help

    @YogiRunner: It's completely up to you. If it is a BFN, aren't you just going to wonder though if you tested too early? Your signs seem promising, but testing early is completely up to you. Many ladies don't get positive at 9dpo.

    @YogiRunner: If it's IB, then it's definitely too early to get a BFP, right? I'd give it until at least 11 dpo (I tested at 10 and got a negative, 11 and got a positive).

  5. JennyG

    @YogiRunner: Hold out for a few more days. It will most likely be a BFN at 9DPO and then you will have wasted a test. Fingers crossed for you.

    So I am on cd35, temp still up, and a negative FRER yesterday. I feel like AF is on her way though. Oh and when I went to the dentist Saturday, I had to fill out a medical questionnaire. One of the questions asked if I could possibly be pregnant, so I said yes and they didn't do any x-rays.

    @YogiRunner: I'd try to hold out...and by that I mean I'd test, convince myself a BFN was because it was too early to test and then I'd test again at 10 or 11 DPO. So if you do test today and do all that, you wouldn't be alone.

    But really, holding out is probably a much better idea.

    @Worrywart: I'm sorry.

    Well, I am not sure what's going to happen with me. My DH went for a SA last week that was EXTREMELY abnormal (low numbers, low motility, low volume, bad everything). He is having it repeated this week. But basically, it looks like it's going to be very difficult to get pg without assistance.

    On the one hand, it kind of explains why nothing has happened, even though I KNOW I'm ovulating and I KNOW our timing was good. And I guess now we can move on to get help without wasting more months.

    But on the other hand, it's just totally devastating and hard to deal with. I'm not temping at all this month. I'm going to use OPKs just so I can go ahead and have my O+5 bloodwork done and get that cleared. My CD3 bloodwork was totally normal.

    Sigggh.

    @Mrs. Microscope: I am so sorry you are experiencing this. Fingers crossed that all is well.
    @MrsADS: That must be a lot to take in. I don't know anything about abnormal SA but I hope there are things you can do to get a .
    @mrs_cc: Welcome!
    @Worrywart: I'm sorry.

    As for me, NTNP is sort of going ok. I am on CD 14 and no positive OPK yet (I know, I know that's not really NTNP. ) Truthfully, I tested Saturday and today but they were both negative so who knows if I ovulated in between...only BD CD 8 and CD 12. Can't you tell I suck at NTNP?

  21. MissLace

    @YogiRunner: i've also been spotting for the past 2 days and i took a test this morning at 9DPO and it was stark white negative so i'd hold out if you can, but clearly i don't have that much self control...

    @valentinemommy @hellobeeboston I am testing tomorrow too.

    After getting the neg test already at 11/12 DPO I would like to wait longer, but DH is going out of town and into the wilderness for a week and a half starting tomorrow afternoon, so if it is a BFP I want him to be there.

    @willow My temps are still high too right now on CD 35, so there is still hope for this cycle.

    @mrs. microscope that must be frustrating. hoping for a more obvious positive for you!

    First time on HelloBee and I'm still making my way through this thread...looks like an active and encouraging group. This is cycle #5, and it's been challenging to stay positive at times, but DH and I are hopeful for a BFP soon!

    @Jone0603:

    @Jennyg: did you ladies test??

    I did - BFN! I'm so confused. No signs of AF. Flashing smiley sat sept 20, we bd that day and the next (Didn't think that timing was great, but not bad). So I have to assume I ovulated maybe Monday or Tuesday? That would put me at 14/15 DPO. so I should really have my period or a positive test!! Wth. I did have a suuuuper stressful week last week. But that shouldn't affect LP. Mystery.

    And.... AF is here. Full blast. So it looks like I had a CP. Next month I don't have any beer festivals so no early testing. Crazy that I wouldn't have even known about the chemical unless I had tested early. I'm a little bummed out, but more so due to a feeling of lost opportunity than true pregnancy loss.

    You ladies are amazing, and I look forward to spending November back here on the poas boards. Hopefully I ovulate sooner than cd20 this time! And no early testing at all!

    Big silver lining: Epcot food and wine festival next week and riding roller coasters!

    @MrsADS: I'm sorry. Hopefully you can set up a plan with your doctor now that you know what the problem is. Even though it sucks, maybe having a plan will help you both feel a little more in control of the situation.

    @EleanorRigby: Welcome! At least being on vacation will make this TWW easier (I had two cycles like that and didn't hardly think about POAS, symptom spotting, etc at all!)

    @Mrs. Microscope: Sorry to hear that! Sometimes we can cause ourselves more pain and frustration with the early testing (because like you said, otherwise we wouldn't even know about most CPs). I'm glad you can still see a silver lining though.

    Got another BFN this morning. My temps are still high, so I don't know what is up with that. I guess I could have ovulated a little later, but then our timing would have been bad. Still no period and depending on which app I look at it was due yesterday or today. So frustrating. Do you guys thing my Ff crosshairs look right?

    @Jone0603: I haven't been temping that long, but I've had late ovulation the last few months, so I've gotten better at reading the charts. Is it possible you O'd day 27 or 28? The temps after day 23 are still in line with your normal range it seems, and then it spikes up. I understand the timing frustration - I've been having the same issue!

  39. Mrs.KMM

    grapefruit / 4355 posts

    @Jone0603: I'm no expert when it comes to charts but maybe you O'd on the 27th instead of the 24th. If so, you'd have BD at O-2 and O-3 which doesn't seem like bad timing to me.

  40. DesertDreams88

    grapefruit / 4361 posts

    @JONE0603: I'm not sure, I think the coverline line is a little low? Because there are tons of temps pre-O that are above that line. I'm thinking it might be off by a day or two?

    Maybe it was CD24 at 97.1. That would knock out at least half of the "high" pre-O temps. It would also more closely follow the rule of "3 over 6," explained here: http://nfp.marquette.edu/monitor_bbt.php

    Or, it could also be CD26 at 97.2. I know that means you didn't have AS great of timing, but it would still mean you hit O-2 and O-3! I had a similar issue in August. Based on temps, CM, an the monitor I thought I ovulated on Day 15 (totally normal for me), but I actually didn't ovulate until Day 24, when I had a true, sustained temp rise. My period ended up being two weeks "late" and I took so many HPTs, but all were BFNs because I had my timing wrong. Here's my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ChartGallery/172068.html

    One helpful tip that was given to me during that cycle was to screenshot your secondary signs (the monitor, CM, etc), and then take them out of your chart and see what FF does with your crosshairs. Just to give a different perspective. Then, if you want, put them back in using your screenshot.

    Fingers crossed!!
