For the washing machine to die!!! I have a load of diapers being rinsed and it filled up with water but won't drain! So now I have to take sopping wet diapers to a laundromat, buy disposables, and DH has to hand drain poopy water!!! Oh and we have to buy a new washing machine!
We're hoping it has one drain cycle left in its system tomorrow morning

augh! our dryer died a few weeks ago but we were able to get a repair guy in fairly quickly to fix. i know the sinking feeling you're having!!

Ugh, we had a similar problem a few months ago, only it was that our sewer line was backing up into the house with every cloth diaper load! It suuuucckkked and was so gross. I hope you'll be back in your cloth diapers soon!

Ugh, so sorry! I guess that is a potential downfall for cloth. Hope it is resolved quickly!

Boo. We had exactly the same thing happen earlier this year. It sucked... but DH was able to order and install a replacement part several days later.

This happened to us too! Well, ours wouldn't stop filling, and was also filled with a load of half-washed diapers. Gross day! I feel your pain!

Our old washer lit on fire while washing a load of diap! We were able to fix it luckily!

Ah so many washer problems! Turns out a breast pad clogged the drain, so DH was able to fix it.
@mrsjacks, fear of fire is the reason I won't leave the house when I have a load in the washer or dryer!

@blackbird: you should smell the diaps after they went through a fire filled cycle! Nothing stinkier than smoke filled, burnt rubber, poopy diap wash water!
