Just curious how far along you were if you chose to do a maternity shoot? Were you comfortable at that point in time? Any advice?

34 weeks. Glad I did them then! I started getting really swollen amd puffy after that

I just did them at 31 weeks. I would say not after 34 weeks as well.

We did ours at 32 weeks.

I did mine at 35 weeks . I didn't have too much trouble moving around, although I was really tired the next day. I wasn't swollen, but I've only seen a sneak peak since they were last weekend. It was the only date our photographer had open that also worked for our schedule.

30 weeks and it was perfect

34...I was pretty swollen and glad I didn't do it later!

32-33 weeks and that was a good time for me. i'm starting to feel puffy now at 34 weeks.

@lolabee: Thanks for posting this question! I would have had to ask it too! Meeting w/my photog next weekend and I'm going to aim for 32-34 weeks!

I did them at 37 weeks, I was just a little puffy at that point, and I am glad my belly was at its full potential, I love looking at those pictures!

Thanks for the responses! I was wondering if 34 would be pushing the limits. I don't feel like my bump is near big enough yet but I don't want to feel even more uncomfortable in front of the camera. Guessing game really!

@lolabee: judging on your bump photos, I think 34 weeks would be great for you! I totally feel you on wanting the bump to be more prominent and I think that you'd look great at that point!

@birdofafeather: thank you for the reassurance! For some reason December is scaring me with all the holidays (aka eating delicious things, find the self control!!) that I'll blow up or something lol. At this point the choices are early 32 or mid 34, I think I'll stick with the latter for now. Did you post any of your maternity photos? I bet they are to die for!

32 weeks which was perfect. I was way uncomfortable by 34 weeks

37.5 and it was pretty ridiculous.
I looked like a heifer.

@lolabee: we haven't gotten them back yet, but I'll definitely post some when we do! Hopefully in time to send Christmas cards but my photographer friend did it as a gift and I told her not to worry if she had to take care of other weddings first.
