I don't remember if it happened at 6 months but my head hurts too. She doesn't want to be changed, she's tired, she doesn't want to sleep, she wants to eat, she doesn't want to eat, she wants me to hold her, she wants to be put down, etc. She's driving me nuts.

I had to let her have a total crying fit to get her to nap (it lasted about five minutes). We're scheduled to go to a play group at 3. I'd really like to go because she's driving me nuts but if she's not awake in time, there's no way I'm waking her up.

Edit: We are in Wonder Week 46. I didn't realize this until I looked it up yesterday because she's been so difficult. This is one of the hardest for us so far.

J has been a little more cranky than usual, but not too bad considering that she has a tooth coming through. She's back to waking up at night though! Poo.

ETA: I hope H gets past this phase soon. You have a lot on your plate right now... the last thing you need is a cranky LO!

LOL! your list cracked me up...DD went through something similar at 6 months, she was a grumpalicious princess!

some things that helped were getting outside a lot, going for walks, going anywhere in public (for some reason, she was always on her best behavior in front of everyone and loved getting everyone's attention)

I'm sorry - I'm not trying to laugh, but this has been us for the past 4 months (it didn't really start until 12 months, so I'm thankful for that). The opinions and thought processes are really working at that age - at least you've narrowed down what you can/can't do? *hugs*

I could have written something simliar about the past few weeks of my life. Except we don't have a dog. A dog would have made life better. I *think* T is finally out of the fussy part of leap #8.

Yep, that sounds like 6 months old for sure. We sleep trained at this point, so his crankiness was managed with CIO. I think that we've hit a similar period at 9 months old and sick. He throws a tantrum when we leave his sight view. Everything is super dramatic like a recent fall he took that sent me into the guilts as he bled a bit. I swear he was normal a week or so ago. This week and last week, he's been a terror. I can't wait until we get past this current phase.

@PrincessBaby: I love the picture. I hate to say it, but monster is how it feels right now. He's been a little sick recently, but man, where did my happy dude go. Even this morning, he was a mess getting him ready for daycare. I can't wait until this passes and he's not crying in his crib at 10pm for no reason at all.

I am in the exact same boat. DS is not happy about anything unless he he sitting in front of one of the dogs petting them. My dogs are getting so annoyed though! We are in the same wonder week but today is the last day it says. I really hope so. Cannot take much more of the whining!
