What about the name Ramona?
I am not sure if I love it *yet,* but I do love that it's name you NEVER hear anymore. Thoughts? Any good nicknames for it?

I loved the Ramona and Beezus books growing up (so did DH). I like it, it isn't something you hear often. Nickname options, Mona, is the one that pops out to me.

I knew a Roanna and the nn was "Ro" which I loved. That could work for Ramona too.

I don't think Remy is too much of a stretch for the name Ramona. I also like Ro for an informal nickname.

I think of Ramona Quimby, which was one of my favorite book characters as a child. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

One of my very good friends named her daughter Ramona and I love it. She doesn't go by a nickname.

Just heard this name last night on TV ans thought, hmm I love it. I like Ro or Mona really as nn. I don't watch real housewives so no association for me. I prefer violet but would be surprised in a good way to hear Ramona.
