I know the 2015 uppababy vista accessories don't fit on previous models. Does anyone know if they are discontinuing the older accessories (rumble seat and buggy board)? I just thought they would keep producing them but I heard on the playground they are discontinued (and yet, not on sale anywhere...) I'm planning to get the rumble seat and buggy board before #2 gets here in December but maybe I need to do it now? Seems only fair that I should get a deal on it at least but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I'm pretty sure that even as older model accessories get phased out and are no longer available in stores, you can purchase direct from uppababy customer service until they deplete their inventory.

@Madison43: good point. I'm also not that far from their factory so could theoretically drive there to buy it. But it's annoying since I was hoping to wait a while and see if I can find it used.

@Foodnerd81: I thought I heard awhile ago that they were changing the name of the Vista to something else for the older model. I have a 2013 Vista and couldn't find a buggy board in Canada so ended up ordering one off Amazon. I was able to get a used rumble seat but it was really difficult.
I think I'd just buy them now to make sure you have them!!

@QBbride: yeah they were calling it the "Legacy", but I just saw they changed their minds on that one and are just going forward with the new one.
@LindsayInNY: do you remember when you could use your completion discount relative to the due date you put on your registry?

@Foodnerd81: I can't remember for sure... Maybe 30 days before your "event date"? I feel like I changed my EDD for that reason though.

I had a free stroller tune up with Uppababy (at Tadpoles in the South End) and UB told me that they will always carry the accessories, wheels, etc. that will fit our Vistas. I would call them, they are so nice!
Also, with Amazon, I moved my EDD when LO decided to arrive 6 weeks early and they were totally nice about it and didn't hassle me. I think I had to email customer service to get the code but it was NBD.

@psw27: oh cool, that's good to know. And it's what I thought but then I started getting a little nervous. I think I'll be ok waiting a little then.
And I did make my "event date" for the registry two weeks before my real due date already. Will probably put Christmas presents for C on there too

I heard - also on the playground - that they were just not making the older ones right now so they could keep up with demand for the 2015 model, but when they had done that they would continue making older accessories too.

@Truth Bombs: I emailed the factory store person to also see if they sell them in the store (it's not that far from me) and she only responded saying they don't sell them in the factory. I'll email the main customer service and let you know what I hear.

Thank you for contacting us. While we only ever manufacture the current year line of products, we do expect that there are enough of the accessories for the 2014-earlier model Vistas for another year or two. The only exception to this is the Maxi Cosi Adapter. Please let me know if you have any follow up questions.

Buybuy baby sold me a 2012 rumble seat for 40% off since it's an older model. I think it depends on the associate/manager working in the stroller section when you go in though. I bought mine right away bc I was scared they'd be discontinued! I'm due with my second lo next month.
